Here’s an original article by Kevin that I dug
up as I was going through some of the “archives”.

The original title was:

“The Irresistible, Irrefutable Magic
Mathematic Formula for Making the Sale”

I am about to reveal the most powerful and
profitable mathematic formula ever created.

When V > S The Prospect Always Buys

That simple formula is the key to every
transaction ever completed. When Jacob
worked a total of 14 years for Rachel, that
formula was at work.

When Donald Trump bought his first piece
of real estate, that formula was at work.

And, when I went to the mall yesterday and
bought new shoes, it was this formula that
made the sale.

All you gotta know is what “V” and “S” stand
for in order to apply this formula yourself—

and begin cashing those checks.

“S” Stands for Sacrifice

In order for a transaction to occur, two things
of value must be exchanged. In most cases,
the buyer exchanges money in return for
receiving a product or service.

The buyer is willing to sacrifice money in
order to receive the benefits of the product.

But that’s not the only kind of sacrifice
people make. Sometimes the sacrifice
someone makes is to give up an email
address to get a free report.

Almost all of us have, at one time or
another, sacrificed our time and labor
in order to get a paycheck.

Typically the sacrifice is easy to quantify
since it is usually measured in dollars
and cents.

“V” Stands for Value

Value is represented by what the buyer
believes he is receiving.

This can be a little harder to understand,
so I want to explain….

When someone buys a self-improvement
product, they aren’t buying the book or even
the information contained in the book—
they are buying the end result of applying
the information.

When they buy a diet book, they are buying
a sleek, sexy, youthful figure. You can even
take it a step further and say they are buying
sex or possibly long life.

How about a book on investing?

The buyer is most likely buying security, the
time freedom to do what they please or
possibly freedom from fear.

I had an interesting response from one of
my students a few years ago. I asked him
why he wanted to have a successful online
business.

His response:

“I Know that Once I Have a Successful
Business, Hot Women Will Want to Date Me”

Why did he take my course? Not for financial
security or even to be free from fear. Nope, he
wanted dates with hot women.

If you were to summarize all of these end results
into one word, it would be “happiness”—people
believe their new body, new mind, new money or
whatever they get from your product will make
them happy.

The average person isn’t willing to pay much for
an eBook full of information, but they will pay a
mint to be happy.

When the Happiness a Person Receives
Exceeds the Sacrifice They Must Make,
They Buy

Your job is to create your sales copy—the sites
and sounds they will see in your sales message—
to build value beyond the “price point”.

Offer more value in your product than the price
(or sacrifice) someone would have to make in
order to acquire it, in other words.

Happy Selling!

Jerry

Well it’s good news for all marketers because a new window of opportunity to create a “highly-profitable-set-and-forget” income stream has just opened up.

If you remember, just one year ago digital products such as e-books were selling for as much as $97 or more.

Have you noticed a steady decrease in the price ranges of these products recently? Digital products alone can no longer create a steady income stream on the internet.

Creativity is the key! One has to think out of the box to create a profitable business empire online. One such creative idea is to convert your digital products, Audio/Video content, PLR products or resale rights products to PHYSICAL CD/DVD’s.

There are two reasons why you should consider selling physical products.

1.	Physical products have a high perceived value and sell for much higher prices than digital products.

2.	Physical products have very low refund rates and almost always keep your customers satisfied!

Few years ago, small marketers such as you and me were scared to sell physical CD/DVD products. Why? because converting your digital products into physical products need a lot of time and money to create and deliver them to the customer.

GOOD NEWS! Now you no longer have to waste hours of time trying to package, label and ship your CD/DVD’s to your customers. Disc Mojo Software will completely automate the process and deliver the products to your customer’s doorstep. Once you upload your product to Kunaki and set up Disc Mojo on your server you are all set to receiver orders.

Once the customer orders using the order page Disc Mojo creates, your product will be burned into CD’s, professionally packed and delivered to your customer using kunaki CD fulfillment service.

Check your more details here:

Sell CDs and DVDs automatically

I highly recommend it to everyone. Get this killer product for a very low price!

Act now… and build your very own UNIQUE highly profitable income stream in the next few minutes.

One of the first keys to success in promoting affiliate
programs is finding a market niche.

A market niche is any segment of a market where you can
reach people effectively with a product or service
they will want to buy.

Let me give you an example:

I used to live in a little town of 5000 or so called Banff.

Out of the 5000 most were not permanent residents just
seasonal workers. Banff Alberta for those that may not
know is a Resort Town in Western Canada.

What a great experience something I’ll never forget
and for an avid skier like myself this was the best
choices I’ve ever made to go experience the splendor
of the West.

Anyways enough about geography right…

…back to the marketing

In that little town was one over-priced, under-stocked
grocery store. And it was ALWAYS busy.

Here’s why: The next nearest grocery was 30 minutes
away. Most of us didn’t even have cars let alone
wouldn’t want to drive that far just to pick up a bag
or two of groceries.

So the little over-priced, under-stocked grocery did
very well because they had a unique market.

If you want to make money, sell water in the middle of
a well-traveled desert.

Sell people what they ALREADY want. How can you find
out what people are looking for and WHERE they are
looking?

Here are some keys:

1. Use solid online tools.

People have already done much of the hard work for you
in determining what people are looking for.

Here are two solid tools you can use:

This tool will tell you exactly what keywords are
being searched for on a particular search engine and
how many other sites are listed for that keyword:

My suggestion is just use the Free Trial it’s a great starting place

http://all-in-one-business.com/wt.html

This tool will tell you the top 50 most popular keyword listings.

This is a great way to determine demand for a product
or topic. http://nichebotclassic.com

2. Visit targeted forums and newsgroups.

Today almost every interest has its own forum or
newsgroup. By visiting these and reading the posts,
you can quickly see what those people are interested
in, what problems they need solved, what they are
already spending money on.

For a primer on using forums and newsgroups, go to:
http://all-in-one-business.com/newsforums

3. Keep an eye on the culture.

Rosalind Gardner is a very sharp person. A number of
years ago she realized that internet dating was going
to be a huge trend in the years to come. She built a
site targeted to that market and now earns almost
$500,000 per year from affiliate programs.

You can pick her brain about exactly how you can do the same here:

http://all-in-one-business.com/brainpick

Keep an eye on the culture and you might see a huge
opening.

Can you say Web 2.0 hmmmm

Once you have identified a market niche, the next step
is to find a way to reach that particular group. If you can
do that, you are well on your way to making a good living
from affiliate programs.

While this is just a brief look at affiliate programs,
I have a complete 100+ page report on building a
growing income using affiliate programs.

You can download your complementary copy here:
http://all-in-one-business.com/affreport

Let me know what questions you have and I’ll cover
them in another post

To Your Whole Life Success!

Yes yes I know I know that’s why I’m writing you early

Huh?

It’s Thanks Giving Day in the United States. So as all my American friends gear up for a day of family, friends football and feasting I wanted to get this short post in early (opps short for my typical rants anyways)

For me it’s just another day as I am Canadian, got my girls off to school, drove my wife to work and now I get to sit back and reap the benefits of living in a Cross Border town.

Meaning we get all the American TV stations so I can watch as much football as I can handle. Maybe I’ll cook up a turkey tonight for dinner – maybe not – ahhh who knows

So what’s this post about – In a nutshell Battling Spam WordPress comments at your blog

What you don’t have a blog yet? hmmm give it a try it can be fun and profitable when done right.

Here’s a quick resource on how to profit from blogging that we just offered this week

http://www.NightOwlMarketing.com/blog

So what is spam comments and what can you do to reduce it

Simply spam commnets are when people or automated software leave comments on your blog posts that point back to their site that have no relation to your post

ex.) I-Marketer is obvioously a blog about Marketing now to see a comment about one of posts that says

Great post. If you would like to buy the cheapest online drugs you need to check out my site located here [then this spammer inserts their link to their site]

Pure spam.

So what to do…

I recently added a new feature to our I-Marketer blog that should interest you

It’s a captcha system that asks commenter’s to our blog to enter two words before their comments are added to the blog.

Now why is this a good thing to have. Well previously at the I-Marketer blog when someone wanted to make a comment they had to register

If you hit the comment box at the I-Marketer Blog now you will see it asks for your name, email and website but that’s optional but why wouldn’t you want to tell the world who you are and what you are doing.

Next all you have to do is fill in your comment and the two words that the box displays and hit submit.

Here’s an example of what the box looks like

So how does this benefit you and why do want one?

This cuts down on your commenters time of having to register ending any frustration on their part to make a comment at your blog

It cuts down on spam comments from automated software programs by having to actually type in two distinct words. The automated blog comment posting programs you may have heard of cannot deal with it

And finally and most importantly it starts the community building process at your blog. By allowing readers of your blog a chance to comment increases the sense of belonging to a community

We are doing our best to make you feel apart of the I-Marketer and Night Owl Marketing community.

I have dove head first into using Facebook to start networking and keeping in touch with old friends.

What is facebook. Simply it’s a social site where you can find friends or acquaintances to strike up deals, re-kindle relationships or just plan have some fun.

I’m still quite new to it myself and I’ll talk more about it as I learn it myself. If you are a Facebook Pro contact me to let me know what I should and should be doing
I am ashamed to say that I know what Facebook Spam is. As today I was on the end of one of these Facebook spammers.

It started out to be a simple request of friendship. Which is no biggie. I checked out the persons profile it mentioned that we had 2 friends in common one being Ken McCarthur from JVAlert and Affiliate Showcase fame.

So I figured sure maybe this guy wanted to expand his network of online marketers and since he knew Ken why not.

That was my first problem.

Within 60 seconds of accepting his “friendship request” he sends me an email pitching me on some biz opp. WOW to say I floored would be an understatement. What really pissed me off was the fact that he name dropped Ken McCarthur name then asked me to review something for him

It was a typical flash presentation biz opp. You know the kind (ground floor opp here – billion dollar industry – money around every corner) same ole crap imo

Now I’ve met Ken and I know he doesn’t roll this way so I immediately wrote this jerk back and scolding him for making this pitch at me. I mean have the decency to find out about me then maybe I’ll take a look. Not 60 seconds after we’ve just met

to avoid a 2nd problem

I deleted the guy from my friends network as I figure this guy would do the same to my friends list. Just go down the line asking to be friends with them mentioning my name and then pitching my friends his opp. (what a slimeball)

I then contacted Ken and told him what happened. He was shocked and said he actually didn’t even know the guy. He deleted him from his list as well

People do slip onto lists especially when the person requesting and you have common friends. Which is probably how he got on Kens list to begin with.

Facebook spam who would of thunk it

take care talk soon

Whether you are just getting online or have been on for
a while you will hear how writing articles is a great way to get
free traffic to your site. It’s also a great way to brand yourself

Yes it is a great way to do just that. But what about the money?

How do you make money by writing articles

Sure one might say by including a resource box at the
bottom of the article that offers the reader more information
if they “click here”. This will drive traffic to a site
where you can have an opt-in box to capture the interested
readers name and email address.

You can also drive the traffic you generate with articles to
an affiliate product offer.

Two scenarios. One in my opinion is better then the other.

Which one?

Of course building a list of targeted subscribers is the
best way to go so that you can then send them offers
over and over again. Rather than build the list of the
affiliate program owner, you build your list first.

But that’s up to you. If you follow-up with the interested
prospects and start to develop a relationship with them,
they may eventually respond to your product offers and
buy your product or the product that you are an affiliate of.

The point of the continuous follow up of course is to build
trust so that the people on your list will respond to your
suggestions to purchase products.

Another simple yet effective way to profit from article
writing is using the power of Google.com

How does Google help you make money with writing articles?

Do a search at Google for your article title using quotes
around the title.
For example, type in “Why In The World Am I Writing All These Articles Anyways?”

In quotation marks.

The Results: you will see all of the websites that have syndicated
your article on their site.

Why is this important to you?

It’s basically telling you the sites that your target market visits.
If the site owner has taken the time to syndicate your article on
their website, then chances are you are selling to that same crowd.

So, what’s next?

Well, see if you can strike up some kind of Joint Venture
Deal with those site owners for one of your products.

If it’s an affiliate product you’re offering then see if
you can setup a 2 tier commission. That would mean that
you will get paid when these site owners sign up for the affiliate
program under your link and make sales from their sites.

Another way to use Google is to setup a Google Alert

Account and do the same thing.

Here’s the link www.google.com/alerts

You setup an alert for your articles title name within quotes

And anytime Google finds a reference to your article you
will get an email sent to you telling you that a reference
to your article has been made you then go check out the
site and see if the site that is carrying your article is a good
match for setting up a Joint Venture.

That’s how easy it is to make more money from your initial
effort of writing an article. Now in addition to driving traffic
and creating some brand awareness you

Have a simple yet effective method of finding potential
Joint Venture partners

Who are selling to your very same target market.

I encourage you to implement this ASAP! It’s not only FREE, it’s effective.

Each week my articles are read by TENS of THOUSANDS of people. I would like to tell you that it is because I am such a wonderful writer. I would like to tell you that it is because my reputation as an Internet Guru compels people to listen to everything I say (kinda like those old E.F. Hutton commercials here in the US). I would like to say that it is because the things that I say are so profound that no one else provides the information that I do.

The reality is much less ego-boosting.

The reason that so many people read the things that I am writing is this: I make sure that I get the articles that I write in front of as many people as possible. I’m not neccessarily more talented, more pithy, more knowledgeable than anyone else, I just might be a little more persistent.

Each week more than 20,000 people visit my main site at http://www.all-in-one-business.com. While it is tough to know exactly how many of those people come from an article they caught on a web site or in an eZine, the number is around 15% or 3000+ people per week.

That’s more visits than most websites get in 3 months–in fact, it is more visits than most sites get in a year. If you want to see your traffic steadily increase over time, begin writing.

There are several reasons why writing produces quality traffic to ANY site.

First, when you write, you become the expert. Assuming that you can do a decent job of presenting yourself and your material, most people will never ask for your specific credentials.

When people see you as the expert, they will take your advice.

Remember this: people buy from people they know and trust. Whenever someone reads one of your articles–even if it is posted on your own website or in your own eZine, you become more trustworthy and they become more likely to visit your site and buy.

A second reason why writing produces quality traffic is that writing “brands” your name.

In an upcoming issue I will be looking at the idea of “Branding”. But here is a brief definition: Branding is raising the recognition factor of a name or product.

Years ago I worked for a large insurance company, out of an office in Memphis, TN. Most of my clients were fairly well- to-do and were familiar with the company–one of the largest and most well respected insurers in the world.

I was eventually moved from the “big city” into a rural area of Mississippi.

That’s when I ran into trouble.

The large, well-respected insurance company I worked for did all of its advertising in publications that were geared to the “big city” upper-class. I never had anyone in the city ask me, “What company is that again?” They knew who we were.

When I got to the small town, no one had heard of our big, impressive company. In fact, I was having to spend my time just trying to convince people that we were even a reputable company–though at the time we were the second largest insurer in the world!

That’s branding. Putting your name out there and letting people see it. Every time someone reads an article with your name on it, your stock goes up a little in their mind. Every time someone sees your newsletter, you make a positive impression.

Over time some of these people will become customers.

Another reason that writing produces quality traffic is that writing for OTHER PEOPLE’S publications gives you an instant “referral” for your product, service or site.

When your article is picked up and run in someone else’s eZine, you get their implied endorsement. Even if the editor doesn’t tell the readers that they “specifically” endorse your product, you gain tons of respect in the readers’ minds. The more targeted the eZine, the more respected the editor, the more weight being in that publication carries.

1.7 BILLION dollars

Two guys start a little web business in their garage and sell it to Google for billions. That’s sweet

But how did they do it? Did they just get lucky? Is it possible to duplicate that type of success?

While you may not make BILLIONS, you can imitate their success and earn your own piece of the pie.

First, focus on solving a problem in an emerging niche.

There are 150,000 new blogs every day. YouTube gave bloggers and MySpacers an easy way to add video content to their blogs.

What other niches are exploding right now? Wikis are becoming a rage. Social networking sites are growing exponentially. Pick one and investigate what problems users encounter. Solve just one of those problems and you’re in.

Second, allow users to generate the content.

This is key. Imagine if YouTube had tried to create all the videos itself. It would never have gotten off the ground. By letting users upload their own videos, YouTube became a hands-off operation.

Third, automate everything.

This follows closely with number two: Let your users do the heavy lifting. This frees your time up for marketing while your site grows by leaps and bounds.

Will you be the next billionaire? Maybe, maybe not. If you follow these three guidelines you can’t go wrong.

For more tips on how to create online wealth, see my Success Secrets Course.
