Archive for the “Traffic Generation” Category

Chances are if you already have a website you can use more traffic. However, not all traffic is created equal. Many people get so caught up with driving traffic to their website they forget to check whether it is working towards the actual goal of their website.

Different websites have different goals. One may be to build a brand, another may be to sell a product while yet another may be to build a list from leads. The main thing is to avoid traffic generation strategies that cost money, but don’t result in conversions. - Dump them if they aren’t bringing in the cash or visitors that opt-in

Just the other day I made a suggestion about a hands off traffic system that incorporates a company producing videos on your behalf to drive traffic to your site.

A Word of Caution

Make sure you know what your desired action is that you want your visitor to take when they arrive at your site.

It’s all fine and dandy to get 100,000 people to your site [btw, I'm not saying the suggested service will do that - they might - they might not] I’m saying if you start getting all this traffic no matter what traffic generation method you use, you need to have a plan in place for your visitors once they get there.

My suggestion - capture your visitors name and email

You may have read this before - Not ground breaking news I’m sharing here - just simple, proven theory - dare I say common sense

I only am mentioning this again because the suggested service for traffic PrivateVideoTeam.com may seem like a great deal to you - hands off traffic to your site - however I want you to have a plan in place so that you’re not wasting this opportunity and traffic coming to your site

How do you capture their name and email? -Why would they want to leave their contact information? -we’ll talk again soon

Hands off traffic system was the #1 choice among
all our subscribers in a recent survey we conducted of our list.

Jerry and I are in the Night Owl Cave putting the finishing touches on the
report to address the methods to exactly do just that.

However…a very interesting resource became available and
was actually introduced to us by a subscriber of ours.

It goes to show you ‘you don’t ever really know who may be on your list’

And believe me this is a good thing…as Amber from Dime Consultants
introduced herself to us after taking our survey.

Amber has over 11 years of online experience and
we will be talking with her much more over the coming months about
the various trends she has seen come and gone - thanks for introducing
yourself Amber ;)

Amber has created what I can only describe as a
hands off traffic system for those that are willing to give it a try.

If you ever wanted to jump into the video marketing arena to drive traffic
to your site, but you were afraid or couldn’t figure it all out…then this is your best bet right now.

You don’t have to know anything about video marketing at all to take advantage of this offer

Amber is running a test of her new system once you’re confirmed
into the program all you have to do, is supply Amber your website
address and her team of video marketers will go to town and drive
traffic to your site - for you

If that’s not hands off I don’t know what to tell ya.

Of course there’s a price tag. Isn’t there always
But consider what your getting and if you were
to advertise how much would you be spending?

Checkout Amber’s new hands off traffic system over at
PrivateVideoTeam.com

And keep a look out for our report coming soon Hands Off Traffic System

I have dove head first into using Facebook to start networking and keeping in touch with old friends.

What is facebook. Simply it’s a social site where you can find friends or acquaintances to strike up deals, re-kindle relationships or just plan have some fun.

I’m still quite new to it myself and I’ll talk more about it as I learn it myself. If you are a Facebook Pro contact me to let me know what I should and should be doing
I am ashamed to say that I know what Facebook Spam is. As today I was on the end of one of these Facebook spammers.

It started out to be a simple request of friendship. Which is no biggie. I checked out the persons profile it mentioned that we had 2 friends in common one being Ken McCarthur from JVAlert and Affiliate Showcase fame.

So I figured sure maybe this guy wanted to expand his network of online marketers and since he knew Ken why not.

That was my first problem.

Within 60 seconds of accepting his “friendship request” he sends me an email pitching me on some biz opp. WOW to say I floored would be an understatement. What really pissed me off was the fact that he name dropped Ken McCarthur name then asked me to review something for him

It was a typical flash presentation biz opp. You know the kind (ground floor opp here - billion dollar industry - money around every corner) same ole crap imo

Now I’ve met Ken and I know he doesn’t roll this way so I immediately wrote this jerk back and scolding him for making this pitch at me. I mean have the decency to find out about me then maybe I’ll take a look. Not 60 seconds after we’ve just met

to avoid a 2nd problem

I deleted the guy from my friends network as I figure this guy would do the same to my friends list. Just go down the line asking to be friends with them mentioning my name and then pitching my friends his opp. (what a slimeball)

I then contacted Ken and told him what happened. He was shocked and said he actually didn’t even know the guy. He deleted him from his list as well

People do slip onto lists especially when the person requesting and you have common friends. Which is probably how he got on Kens list to begin with.

Facebook spam who would of thunk it

take care talk soon

Don’t be fooled by the websites that promise to bring traffic to your website for a costly fee. Gaining website traffic doesn’t have to be expensive. It may take a little time and effort, but there are many ways to increase your traffic for free.

Having fresh, relative and timely content on your site will bring in search engine traffic to your website. Make it a goal to add new articles regularly. Do some keyword research and try to figure out what your potential visitors are searching for, and use those keywords throughout your articles. Each page should have its own keywords relevant to the content on that specific page.

Adding articles to reprint directories with incoming links to your site is another way that articles can help increase traffic to your site. Other website owners and bloggers visit reprint articles in search of content for their sites, and may choose to put your articles on their sites. If they do, they will also include the links you put at the bottom of your article, which point directly to your site.

Blogs are a great way to increase traffic to your site. They allow your customers to build a relationship with you. As you post on your blog, include links to information on your website that you think your readers would find helpful or interesting. For instance, if you added a new article to your site, add a post to your blog letting your readers know the article is there, and include a link to it.

Many websites have message boards or forums that will allow you to establish online relationships. The contacts that you make online are not only potential customers; they can also bring you many referrals. Not only do forums allow you to create relationships, they allow limitless advertising opportunities in the form of your signature line. A signature line appears at the bottom of each post, and you can include links to your website in that spot.

Having a newsletter or ezine that you send to your mailing list on a weekly or monthly basis will also help you increase traffic. You can include information on any updates you have made to your site as well as links to articles and other pages your readers will find helpful.

Promoting an e-book, special report, or e-course can also bring you a steady flow of traffic. People turn to the Internet for information. By offering, and promoting, the type of information they are looking for, you are giving them a reason to visit your site.

If you have an informational or tangible product for sale, you may want to consider establishing an affiliate program. The more affiliates that you have promoting your product, the more traffic that will come to your site.
